THE LONDON SCHOOL OF FURNITURE MAKING: COVID-19 STATEMENT

Furniture making courses in London. We run woodwork classes, for adult learners. Our woodwork short course is suitable for experienced students who want to deepen their knowledge. A series of introductory cabinet making lessons build into a comprehensive set of carpentry skills. We teach you how to use joinery to create a coffee table or a make a Japanese coffee table. You can learn how to make boxes and we have a workbench class too. We offer a steam bending class.

COVID-19 STATEMENT

  • We have expanded our workspace to allow for the current social distancing requirements and are restricting the numbers of students in each area to three. Please try to keep to the 2 m recommended distance between you and your fellow students otherwise restrict the time you spend in close proximity to another to a minimum.
  • You may be asked to wear a mouth covering during time were the 2m distance cannot be maintained - please bring your own.
  • Wash your hands upon entering the building and then regularly throughout the day. Hand sanitiser is available on each workbench and at various points throughout the building.
  • Tools, equipment and work surfaces will be cleaned at the end of each day. There are enough tools for everyone to have their own kit so there is no need to share or borrow someone else's during the session.
  • Do NOT come in if you or someone in your household is showing symptoms of COVID-19 or know you should be self-isolating; we will organise an alternative date for you.
  • On site parking is limited but we will try to provide a space for you car if you give us prior notice, though this may not always be possible.
